The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has finally responded to the reports submitted by the Lagos Judicial Panel on the Lekki Toll Gate gunshot that occurred during the #EndSARS demonstration.
Remember that the panel had provided the names of persons who were killed, went missing, or were injured as a result of police and military brutality against nonviolent protestors.
However, during a press conference on Tuesday, November 23, Lai Mohammed emphasized that the reports are riddled with mistakes; that they are recycled fake news.
According to him, the panel just gathered and submitted the same complaints made by Nigerians.
“It is an intimidation of the majority by a minority,”
